About the CFMS
-
The CrossFit Medical Society™ (CFMS) was created to arm individuals with tools, resources and access to providers so they can regain control of their healthcare journey. We recognize that our current medical model is a reactive, centralized system that waits to treat disease instead of proactively partnering with individuals to prevent it. The CFMS aims to decentralize healthcare and return personal responsibility and choice to the individual. In other words, to help you take control of your health.
The current medical model has stripped the provider-patient experience of one of its most sacred and impactful healing components—human connection. The CFMS has built a path so that providers have the opportunity to work with patients who share in recognizing the importance of lifestyle and community for achieving and maintaining health.

The course covers essential topics including:
Clinical applications of CrossFit methodology
Evidence-based health outcomes and research
Patient assessment and progress tracking
Safety considerations and scaling principles
Integration strategies for clinical practice

The CrossFit Medical Society envisions a healthcare ecosystem where CrossFit affiliates serve as essential community health hubs. This model has the potential to:
Improve access to preventative healthcare services

Foster stronger community health connections
Through continued education, research, and collaboration, the CrossFit Medical Society is working to create a new paradigm in healthcare delivery - one that emphasizes prevention, community engagement, and sustainable lifestyle changes. By equipping both healthcare providers and affiliates with the necessary tools and knowledge, we're building a more effective and accessible healthcare system for all.
